Why not….?
- Read a book about a place you’ve never been to
- Read a book in a genre that you’ve never read before — e.g., mystery, fantasy, real-life drama, historical fiction, science fiction, animal stories, humor, horror, non-fiction, biography, sports, classics, poetry, multicultural, etc.
- Read a book about something you studied in school this year
- Read a new book by one of your favorite authors
- Read a new author you’ve never read before
- Read at least three books in a series
Popular Series
See KidsReads.com for descriptions of popular series and the age ranges they appeal to. If you don’t know what book comes next in a series, see:
- Books in a Series, provided by the Monroe County Public Library (Indiana, USA)
- Juvenile Series and Sequences, provided by the Mid-Continent Public Library (Missouri, USA)
- Children’s Books Sequels — what comes next? (UK)
