This Thursday, September 13th, is both the beginning of Ramadan, the Muslim month of fasting, and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year — and I have displays of books on both religious holidays in the library.
Thursday is also Roald Dahl Day, designated last year in the UK as an annual event, falling on his birthday. He was born in 1916 and died in 1990, so he would have been 91 years old.
