Morris Gleitzman to visit Wed, Sept. 19th!

August 20, 2007 · No Comments

We are thrilled to be getting Morris Gleitzman, one of the most famous contemporary Australian authors for children, for a whole day on Wednesday, September 19th. (He’s only in town for three days and AISS and Tanglin are getting him on the other two days.) Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 (at least those students not away on school trips that week) will get to hear him speak.

Check out his website — there’s plenty there to explore, e.g., answers to his Most Asked Questions

You teachers might appreciate these notes on his books, made available online by Puffin books:

Other teacher websites also provide resources to accompany his books, e.g.,

NB: The Age newspaper in Australia recently discovered “Why Harry Potter Makes Morris Gleitzman Wince“.
